Thankgiving

                                                                       Thanksgiving
  For Thanksgiving we always go to my grandma's house to eat super and play with all of my cousin's and the rest of my family. I'm thankful for all of my family and friends, my house, food, and good health.

  We always play games, but for some reason my cousin's and I always end wrestling and my grandpa has to always has to break us up before dinner is ready.

Math

In the new unit in math we are practicing mixed numbers, fractions, and equivalent fractions. We just finished unit 4 in math. We have just been everywhere in math, like some people are way ahead of other people and some are a little behind.

Science is getting a little harder because we are trying to separate gravel, dichotomous earth, and salt. We can only use the things that we have already used this unit in science.

We have started a new unit in science about filtering different kinds of  gravels and salt and stuff like that. We didn't really do anything with the land forms kit so I couldn't wright about anything. We've been filtering different kinds of rocks and minerals and decomposed bones. We haven't really done anything because we just started.

This morning was Jam The Van and we won with 111 items so that means........ PIZZA PARTY!!! All the items go strait to the Cascade Food Pantry. We get Happy Joe's and Casey' s pizza.

My Hero

Eli Green is my hero because I’ve known him since I was 3 years old and he is also my best friend so I look up to him.

            Eli always sticks up for himself and sticks up for people that are too shy and people that can’t stick up for themselves. When we were young he used to stick up for me because I didn’t like to talk as much, so he talked up for me.

            Eli is always brave because he always likes to try new things. He likes to climb trees, catch critters, and loves to just walk around in the woods looking for new things.

            When Eli sees someone felling down he tries to cheer them up but, maybe they don’t need cheering up but, he likes to do it anyway. Sometimes he uses jokes to cheer people up. Most of the time they work but, sometimes they don’t.

            Eli and I do everything together from baseball games to going to the movies. If we are on separate teams for sports or something else, we get really competitive. We’ve been in the same class sense P-K and haven’t been in different classes, yet. Eli haven’t been apart very much and I don’t plan on starting very soon.

In science we are talking about how mountains are formed. We just started a little bit ago so we haven't done very much but, we have put a foam mountain together and traced them.
